Is your dog flower, also known as a walking dog like a walking onion?
Indigo, is that Baptisia wild indigo or something different? Maybe I can bring my second Datura down to you. I only have room for one in the ground away from dog, near the compost.

Yes, requires more regular watering though. Less self sufficient than the onion.
My datura didnt sprout. Tho my indigo did and lookin good but small. Your yard is wonderful.
