03/03/2024 wild hyacinths up!

I am pleased to see both species of wild hyacinths up now.

I checked my spreadsheet and in 2022 the dwarf peach flowered in April. In 2023 it flowered around the beginning of March. We planted it in 2021.

The non native dandelions and henbit usually start first here but we’re starting to get some native flowers emerging! Plus, daffodil update.

Both pear trees have ideas about spring, but only leaves. I’m not sure how old they need to be to bloom.

We’re adding four new veggie beds in the front and we got one in on Saturday.

This one was a real treat!

Thursday really had a bunch of garden updates so I’m going to pile them together.

Paula spotted this first flower of the season on one of the Chandler variety strawberry plants. This plant is right under the condensation drip.

Spring is springing!
