We got more rain overnight and I needed to smooth out the disturbed soil near the house foundation where we recently got piers. While I had the hoe out, I scraped out some little drainage ditches to pull some water away from the porch.

Well, it’s good for the new plants I just put out because the forecast is pretty firm about rain, but it’s going to obscure possibilities for more of a rare G5 geomagnetic storm that resulted in the aurora borealis visible FROM OUR DRIVEWAY.
