03/02/2024 ups and downs

First, I was disappointed to find our maybe baby ferns (which I can’t find on the blog now either??) either died or were algae and have since expanded. It’s still wet in the container so I don’t think they dried out.

On a short walk, Briar and I saw some native bluets blooming. Thanks to Mom for identifying them to species. delight!

In the yard, the spring beauty from home is doing well and has bloomed!!

  Nah but that’s ok. We’ll tip the soil out into a likely garden spot and maybe any remaining spores will eventually find a condition they like
