Yellow puff is happening!!

A big chunky seedling stalk pushes through clumpy damp potting soil. There is a little ring between the stem and the root, almost like the ring at the base of some mushrooms.
Paula discovered today that we have a yellowpuff seedling beginning to grow!! So exciting. This one was in a yogurt container with a clear lid on it, so it had high humidity to germinate in. We shall see how fast the others come up if they do. We have kept them all damp though even on the front porch.
The same picture as above, but with my finger tip behind it to show how big the soil-covered seed is before the seed leaves emerge.
Finger tip for scale. It was a big seed, even bigger once it started uptaking water, and now it grows!!
