Mowing night

Butterfly milkweed is growing.
The Chef made pizza and put white currant tomatoes and basil on it. Yum.
Very hard to see but I saw a white-lined sphinx feeding at the Salvias while I was mowing!

A faithful blog reader sent me a cool article about plants and lichens growing in highly contaminated or naturally heavy metal rich soils. Thank you, you know who you are.
