Posted on June 8, 2021June 8, 2021Humidity of spring Found the two tiniest stinkhorn mushrooms in the yard! Probably a bee fly? Decided the onions would probably dry better in the less humid air of house.
Posted on June 1, 2021June 1, 2021Stop it Apparently corn is just as good as grass to chew on. In less aggravating news, the second set of (newer) Christmas Lima beans are up. I like how you can still see the bean pattern.
Posted on May 30, 2021May 30, 2021Pics from earlier today Arkansas yucca seedling is surviving! Blooming (above) and done blooming (below) dwarf pomegranate. The pie/sour cherries before I got around to picking them. Sleepy supervisor.
Posted on May 28, 2021May 28, 2021Dog ideas Briar needed out early this morning. Elderberry is so close to blooming. The very heavy rain yesterday evening knocked off the cactus’ impending fruit. Culinary sage is sprouting this time (earlier this spring I planted some and only a few came up). One of my baby cacti. A different species got covered in cottonwood fluff and dew. There is moss growing in the planter!!
Posted on May 27, 2021May 27, 2021Not impressed Hello Briar shall we tour the garden today? A second Echinacea has fully opened! An okra seedling is up! Strawberries made it into breakfast this morning! “No is boring can we do something fun please”
Posted on May 26, 2021May 26, 2021Lunch boredom Briar helpfully supervises baby native wildflower mix seedlings.
Posted on May 21, 2021May 21, 2021Custom cilantro amount The Chef asked for a rosemary amount of cilantro, which is apparently 9 grams. Briar has helpfully captured 1 Gram as a pillow.
Posted on May 21, 2021May 21, 2021White avens cloud They are doing spectacular this year! I love the tiny strawberry-like flowers.
