10/06/2024 wild ground-cherries

Physalis cinerescens grows wild in the backyard and I’ve started moving cuttings of it to new places.

I took these cuttings in the spring and we just planted them a few weeks ago. They’re small but seem established now without more watering.
This plant is one I moved a year or two ago to the boot scraper. They survived foundation repair earlier this spring and have pushed back up through the soil bigger than before!
