Posted on February 18, 2024February 18, 2024 by larksparrow02/18/2024 ready The elderberry is ready to go. I’ve seen two shoots coming up out of the ground that I need to move too.
I’d love to try elderberry somewhere. I’m not sure where I can even get a plant, though. Where did you get yours? Loading... Reply
I got mine from a shoot from Mom’s, which I think was from a roadside. If hers doesn’t have shoots I could bring one back from here. I have two I need to move. I’ve also seen them on the usual online places like: https://mowildflowers.net/search.php?search_query=Elderberry and https://www.prairiemoon.com/sambucus-canadensis-elderberry-prairie-moon-nursery.html The bare roots and potted are out of stock but they both have good notification services. Prairie moon says the seeds are hard to grow. We’ve only ever propagated by digging up shoots. Let me (or mom haha) know! Loading... Reply

Suzanne,
Next you are here, you could get one.
Hooray! I’d love to do that! I have just the place to try it.
That’s a pretty shoot. Bet it does really well
