Posted on September 7, 2024September 7, 2024 by larksparrow09/07/2024 I do love fall flowers! Fall obedient plant has started! Cowpen daisy has one flower! The Eryngo is doing well! The tepary beans are starting to bloom. These goldenrods were already in the yard when we bought the house. Rudbeckia lacinata from Abby is doing very well this year. I put an overflow hose from the rain barrel over to their area. The mealy blue sage in the front yard by the porch is doing well. Solidago rigidiscula from home in the caliche planters is doing well in one planter. The one in the other plant is mostly dead but it had a rough spring with aphids. The mystery legume that’s been growing for a year or two in the backyard is an Illinois Bundleflower! Abby kindly helped us identify it by its hairy stems and stipules at the base of the leaf.

The goldenrod is gorgeous. And the obedient plants you gave Nancy are blooming also. Right by her backdoor. Loading... Reply
